The new tobacco law on which the Ministry of Health is working will a priori lead to more restrictions for smokers. The new law will increase the number of smoke-free areas, including the rooftops of bars and restaurants, sports stadiums, parks, beaches and even private cars.
Next Tuesday 31 May is World No Tobacco Day and to coincide with this date, the IMOP-BERBĒS question asks Spaniards about the possibility of new restrictions on smoking.
66% of Spaniards would agree with a ban on smoking in the aforementioned public spaces, terraces of catering establishments, open-air sports venues and beaches.
